Great portrait, though I would really wish you did not include real fur in it. There is nothing beautiful about cruelty.

Thank you, and I understand your point, but this fur was recycled and very old, from a second hand shop.

I am glad to hear that, though I am a vegan myself and also stay away from recycled fur. For me it has to do with the signals we give - by wearing fur, old or new, we tell others that it is an acceptable fashion, and others can't know if it is second hand or not. But of course, there is always a problem also with faux fur and leather - others can't always tell if it is real or not, especially with faux leather, and I still use it. So it is not always easy to know where to draw the line!

Yea, I know what you are saying! I love animals too and try to avoid using animal anything during my shoots, but when its the stylist who brings it, there isn't much I can do!

Ah, if it is a professional photoshoot and you get paid for it can be a problem. I work at a elementary school, and can't refuse to feed the children meat either. Though I hope more and more people in the fashion world realize that fur is unacceptable!

I agree to a point- but you must also realize that not all fur comes from a cruel source.
Cruelty makes for bad fur quality.

Food for thought :)
